The Department of Agriculture (DA) Biotechnology Undergraduate Scholarship Program promotes the field of Agricultural Biotechnology, and assists in multiplying the succeeding champions in this field by supporting students with interest to undertake career paths in biotechnology. Through academic partnerships with the country’s leading state universities and colleges (SUCs) in Agricultural Biotechnology, the Scholarship Program can provide learning opportunities for scholars to be guided and trained by renowned scientists and researchers in the Philippines.

The Scholarship Program is designed to address the need to have more scientists and researchers in the field of Agricultural Biotechnology; and, support the education of financially-challenged but highly motivated, intellectually gifted, and talented students in local SUCs with interest to undertake career paths in biotechnology.

The DA Biotechnology Undergraduate Scholarship Program Financial Assistance and Merit-based scholars are entitled to receive the following grants and incentives:

• Full tuition Fee
• Monthly Stipend
• Clothing Allowance
• Educational Exposure Trip Allowance
• Apprenticeship Allowance
• Thesis Allowance and Incentive
• Graduation Allowance and Incentives
